Hilltop Infant School is a school for 4-7 year old children in Wickford, Essex. We have a wonderful team of staff, active and informed governors and supportive families who all help the children to be safe and happy and to make exceptional progress. It is our aim to make sure that all members of our school community are supported and feel included and valued. Children working outside classroomStarting school is an exciting and important stage in a child's development and we work hard to make it a happy and positive experience. Families are welcome to visit the school during one of our Open Mornings or at other times by appointment. Our staff also liaise with pre-school settings, parents and carers and make home visits for new families who would like one.

We share a site with Hilltop Junior School and most of our children move there when they reach Year 3. We work alongside the Junior staff to make transition as smooth as possible for all children.

If you would like to find out more about our outstanding school please telephone the school office on 01268 762531, and make an appointment to come and meet me and have a look around.
